A poem about anxiety

I sit and I sit
I stew and I stew
I bite my own lip if only to chew
Anxiety nibbles away at my mind
But I promise I promise that really I'm just fine
So I'll sit and I'll sit
I'll chew and I'll chew
With all my thoughts racing only of you
And I'll take a deep breath if only to think
but I'll choke on my own tongue before I can speak
