The year everything scattered,
The year my plans fell crashing out like a phone on 2%,
In that same year,
I saw nothing but God,

Not physical eyes,
But the kind of eyes you get when life finally humbles you,

When the people I trusted broke me,
The people I leaned on saw me as a burden,
When the things I chased kept running faster than Usain Bolt,
When the "Kings" in my life died,
When I let ego, pride, comfort die,
That was when God showed up,
Saying boldly,
NOW YOU SEE ME CLEARLY

He sat on heaven's throne saying,
NO FEAR,
I'VE BEEN IN CONTROL BEFORE YOU TOLD ME TO TAKE CONTROL

His voice filled the room,
Darkness disappeared,
Faith jacked back to life,

You will learn from my story,
I wasn't the perfect one,
I wasn't the righteous one,
But I was the honest one,

Like those lepers only one was whole,
Cos he was sincerely honest,

God wants people who will stop pretending,
You can't do it on your own broski,
You need help,
Not physical help,
But you need Jesus to help you,

Drop the strong face,

You see,
Sometimes God let's the "kings" in your life die,
So you can meet the real King,
Sometimes He lets your strength fail so you can lean on His

You see,
Only God is perfect,
So stop trying to be,

See the story of the ten lepers,
All of them were healed,
Only one was made whole,
Because he came back honest,

Didn't pretend to have healed himself,

Do you know the kind of heart God looks for?

Let me educate you,

He looks for the humble ones,
Not the ones acting strong,
Not the ones saying,
"Na society cause this",
Not the one faking fineness with a smiling face,
But the one who acknowledges
"Lord, I can't do this alone"

So drop the strong face,
Let the tears talk if you can't,
Because God can fix what you are willing to expose,
A problem shared is a problem solved right?

He can lift the burdens you are willing to surrender unto him,
You know say,
God self dey gym,
He doesn't lift dumbbells
He lifts our burdens,
He said,
"Come unto ooh yee that are heavy laden and I will give you rest"

When my life was falling apart,
When every "king" in my life died,
The real King came,
When I couldn't stand anymore,
His strength stood for me,
For the lord is my shepherd,

Listen to me,
You don't need to be perfect to see God clearly,
You just need to be honest enough,

Sometimes your world has to shake,
Before he shakes your life,
Sometimes your plans has to fail,
So His plans can have fulfilment in your life,
And sometimes,
Everything has to scatter so you can say,
"I SEE NOTHING BUT THE MOST HIGH GOD"
