Retired gentleman, 89 years on the planet, formally an engineering specialist here in Silicon Valley. Fifty year member of a self-help community (12 Step) and long time member of the Theosophical Society. Currently living in an independent Senior Community. Still driving, and self caring. I lost my lovely wife of 42 years last March to Alzheimer’s disease. My mind (brain function) still works well, but my body daily reminds me it’s a 1936 model. My life today is more about enjoying the time I have left, being present to friends, family, and others that I meet and where possible, sharing my experience, strength, and hope.
