BRIDES OF CHRIST!


We will be strong,
For the ONE we love.
For HE may yet
Come, this day!

We love HIM,
Beyond all words,
All desires, all things!

We wake each day
Knowing, that this
May be - THE day!

We live each day
Knowing, that whatever
Else it brings, it may
Bring HIM, again!.

And, each day we pray for,
What we desire most,
That the ONE whom we love,
Should come - for us.

We are mad, some say.
How long has HE
Been gone, they taunt.
Yet you go on
Believing, HE is still coming?

But, we tell our hearts,
Our minds, our souls,
To be strong.
If not for us, then
For the ONE we love.

Also, we remind ourselves,
That there are others,
Like us, who still believe,
And love HIM too.
Who desire HIS return, as we do.

Who know, without doubt,
That HE is coming for HIS own,
To claim those with faith enough
To wait, like any other bride in love.

So yes, we wait.
Placing all our hopes in faith,
As loving brides of CHRIST.
Knowing HE, whom we love,
May come again – tonight!
