Welcome to World Weavers


There are many contests on W.com which look at genre stories or answers to a given prompt.

Those of you who have participated in the Character Gauntlet by former user Mynt will know it is a little bit different: 15 days of prompts to help you flesh out your character and earn a little recognition in the process.

The World Weavers’ Championship is my effort to expand on where the Character Gauntlet left off. Here we’ll tackle the set, the cultures and politics and the part your world plays in your story. That’s not to say that this is a strictly fantasy or sci-fi contest! This applies just as much to the fictional representations of contemporary or historical settings.
