Attended Ekta's Open Table at Zoey's yesterday.
It was good fun. The highlight was Hindi poems read out by one participant and an English poem read out by another participant who claimed to not-be-creative and was shy of reading aloud but did so.

Don't cry over spilled paint - use it to finger paint!!
That's what I did! Mixed the white spilled paint with some blue and painted ocean waves!

Been watching old episodes of LUCY.

She was the ULTIMATE actress! I've been marveling at how the script builds up and how the slapstick is worked into the episode. I DO love Lucy! *Bigsmile*

But we're not stones
We're human beings
We choose with our minds
our hearts souls and bodies
and we roll sideways
or uphill if we want to.

We can defy gravity
if we think we can
We can swim against the current
if we believe in ourselves
We can stop the fire burning
If we bring in enough water
We have the power in ourselves
if we only know it.

Yes, a stone only rolls downhill
because that's all it can do
Let's not choose to be stones
Let's not harden ourselves
Let's not forget what we're blessed with
The power to think, to feel, to decide
to choose how we roll.

Received some Potter-themed art work as a gift from a friend's niece! The Knight Bus and the drawing of the trio are Potter themed, then there's a Christmas Tree and a corner-bookmark.
