Questions and answers about consciousness thought and communication |
Can we communicate with God and each other? How is this possible? Can we communicate with God and each other? I can. Communication is an exchange of information. Writing is a communication system. Thinking and speaking are communication systems. Prayer is a form of communication. It’s the communication part, that can be a hang-up to sharing. A. Two people are going to build a wall together. Person one; builds walls with wood. Person two; builds walls with cement blocks. They are going to have to share their ideas and come to some kind of agreement about, how the wall should be built, and what materials will be used to build the wall. In A. It requires interaction by voice or thought for people to communicate. We call talking to God prayer. The lord’s prayer can be found here, Matthew 6:9-13 or Luke 11:2-4. At least two of the writers of books in the New Testament felt that this was an important way to understand how to approach the Lord of Life, as taught by Jesus. Both mental and voiced prayer can be understood by the one and only God. Sincerity is important when you reach out in prayer. Sometimes the words Fear of God put people off of the communication path. Jesus, who came here to illuminate the Scriptures for humans who were off the path, started the Lord's prayer with "Our father who is in Heaven." Fear of God actually is more exceptional if you think of it as a deep trust in a good way. Sometimes earthly fathers leave us with suspicion The heavenly Father can always be trusted to give us good advice. Psalm 25: 4-5 Guide me in truth. Psalm 103:13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who respect him. 1 John: See what great love the Father has lavished on us. That we should be called children of God. Are there limits, to language and consciousness of another person? I’m a journalist. I graduated from the Journalism program at Edinboro University, located at Edinboro, Pennsylvania, USA. Journalist are taught to keep their personal opinions out of articles in the news. The public is supposed to be informed by journalism, of newsworthy parts, of what is happening in society, so you can form your own opinions. However, you and I both know news can be slanted toward one view point or another. Translations of language can also make more than one viewpoint of a subject; this is the reason for reading different translations of Biblical scripture. To gain a clear internal understanding of what God is saying. Three versions that are tested by time equal, The King James Version, The English Standard Version, and The Jewish Study Bible which contains the Old and New Testament. My experience tells me that a person's awareness or perception, as it pertains to conscious thought; is also going to decide how they translate anything they see or hear, into what they use, to make up their everyday actions in life. Can you share what you are with someone else? Only to the extent you are willing to reveal yourself. That is when truth and lies are formed. Also necessary, is the ability for two people to reach shared communication. How can things that we cannot touch or see be explained with shared words? To share anything we need words, that mean the same thing, between subjects. Or we need to explain what we are saying in more than one way. For instance, the word miracle can be used in different ways. I think of it, as an event, that learned people have not found a reason or scientific law for, at this time. How often are auto crashes or airplane crashes where passengers or some passengers escape injury considered miraculous. How do you use it? An example of conscious experience is, why did the recent trained helicopter pilot make the mistake and fly into an airliner in Washington, DC., perception of sight, because of visual messages, as they were translated to his senses? Do we always misunderstand the meaning of these words, converting them into our private languages? It can happen but, not always. Doesn’t it depend on preconceived ideas? Sometimes it may depend on how quickly the shared experience happens. A wrong number on the phone? Someone crying in the isle of a store? Meeting someone for the first time, that you have previously heard gossip about. Is there something in our shared design that allows us to communicate without words? Is understanding each other just a product of shared experiences, or is it something more than that? It is empathy. Empathy can be the ability to share someone else's feelings or understand their thoughts without verbal communication. The ability through trust, experience, and social abilities to understand each other. I believe real empathy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. I know people who study psychology who believe psychology and sociology gives us all the answers to empathy. Although these science-based subjects can help us with understanding in a specific setting; it takes something more deeply embedded in the brain to give us sudden intentional answers to unknown questions, or actions about to happen. Can we communicate with God and each other? Yes. It isn’t really a case of if we can but, how we use, our abilities, for the benefit of each other and society as whole. Some types of communication have to be learned, once learned take practice. Giving everyone the same values and keeping each person's own personality helps enlighten communication. How is this possible? God gave everyone the same way to progress in communication through his word. word count from WDC = 969 b}Can we communicate with God and each other? How is this possible? |
