I'm perplexed at these politicians' philosophies.
The bigger problem seems to lie in the ongoing inequality,
Or how no one seems to realise
The borders that we create are damaging
To every being undeniably.

I'm stressed at the decisions passed to our expense
with vision lacked, just corporate agendas being backed
By governments that don't see that we don't agree
with being trapped in a system where we're simply rats.

I don't see why we're forced to be a person we don't want to see
in our reflection if we don't bend the knee,
Society will be done with us

When people think and speak for themselves
it damages and depletes their sales,
'Cause the people want to know the truth
So they can see what's right and guide the youth.

The future is all that matters.
We're so blinded by today
That if tomorrow the earth just shattered,
The human race will be wiped away.

We have the technology now to be among the stars,
To find planets that will live much longer than ours.

'Cause our future lies out there it seems,
But noone visits barring dreams,
As we would much rather consume our earth away
And leave future generations within nothing but decay.

We have the knowledge now to answer questions long asked
Instead of letting faith be the answer with no care to fact.
Just an easy answer in a world of queries.
But what are we if we don't allow for theories?
We're blessed with open thought that's not new,
So why would we sit back and not question what is true?
Just blindly abide by an easy excuse
a higher power is chaos, not deities at loose.

We live in space-age times occupied by stone-age people.
We live wasteful lives and don't treat all as equal.
