Loving you from afar—painful, pure, and strangely perfect.

Lost in the moment, looking into your eyes.
Lost in the moment—life feels too vain.
Lost in the moment, the way you look at me...
Perhaps that glance takes away all the pain.

Lost in the moment—you don’t realize how much
A man like me can endure.
It’s tough to survive.
But from a distance, watching you—your eyes—
They take it all away.

We don’t meet often,
Nor do we talk.
Perhaps you’re afraid—
Afraid of how good,
How pure
A love could be.

Good that it never happened.
Good that you were never mine.
Because now,
I enjoy the pain.
