PROLOGUE

Dear diary
Guess what? We are moving….again. It's literally the third time in a single year.
Fortunately, the last two times were close enough and I didn't have to change schools
But at this point, I shouldn't even be surprised.
Dad is not sure about this next move. If he is so uncertain I should be overthinking the hell out of my brain.
He just doesn't know if he wants to take up this job or not.
I am not really sure what he does exactly but this hesitation can't be good.
I asked him where we are going this time and just a hint?
Not a place I want to revisit again.
Don't get me wrong, I love travelling.
Rossmere is actually a good place too.
But that's where mom passed away, five years ago.
We moved on like it didn't even matter.
Tubes through her nose, the slow heart rate on the monitor, her thin frame.
That day still haunts me.
He's probably hesitating because of me.
Should I tell him that it is okay?
He'll go with it if he wants to, regardless of what I say.
But he has to know how I feel.
…or maybe not.
I'll let you know how that conversation went.
(If I ever talk to him, that is.)
