Young Native American goes on a vision quest

FLIGHT OF THE HAWK


My soul whirls on the wind that glides

Searching for sacred land, our heritage, our pride

Free falling my essence unites

With my earthly shell once driven in flight

Spirit guides you've instructed me well

Your lessons live on in the stories I tell

Visions of truth have been revealed to me

From eternal flame that burns in thee

Look to the sea, speak to the land

Here inly the answers between God and man

Spirit of the Earth

Grant me rebirth

And forever walk by my side
