Aging as the world around you changes, and accepting it.

I’m old enough to know better, to feel pain in unfamiliar places, and to chase relevance in a world that moves faster than many of my age can follow.

My faith in God runs deeper. Letting go of my children is a tender truth, and loneliness, surprisingly, has become a quiet companion.

Still, I wouldn’t trade today for yesterday or tomorrow—because I’ve learned to live in the now. And living—truly living—is good.

Gratitude and thankfulness of old age.
