A short commentary on the future of mankind upon the Earth |
What Holds the Future Since man became self aware and is now able to imagine future Earth. We all wonder the end result on Man's endeavor. Many sages and men of science envision a world void of humanity and the world inhabited by roaches, scorpions, and the ants. Seems like they're unkillable. However not many take into account the acts of God who is running this great experiment and has specific goals in mind about the grand finally. Some think the 'meek shall inherit the Earth' and the world will be inhabited by folk who have aligned themselves with the plan of God and will live everlasting lives on the world God has brought back to a Paradise condition. Others see the future as a world wherein the elect of God have totally transcended the biological creature and will live in a heavenly state on the level with the angels of God. The word immortal comes to mind. If the world is then inhabited with changels, (folks who have transcended physicality) then there be no need for a natural population and the world can be given over to the animal kingdom. The Sages of old think the world we now live in is a product of some great transgression that happened far back in the mists of time. That sin, disobedience to God, entered the world through one man's transgression, and Paradise will be restored through one man's righteousness. Even Jesus Christ the son of the living God. If that be so, then the Earth is in the midst of a transition as God saves the world one person at a time. Now, it seems to be our choice whether to live life as it comes or do we seeks to find the ways of God and become part of the restoration process. We, then have become our own judges. Whether we spend eternity living every man beneath his vine and his fig tree for all time enjoying the Paradise of God in the natural sense, or we at some time transcend the flesh and become a Spiritual angelic being living off the life power of God as do his angelic host. It is all good and somethng to look forward too. |
