Nate was incredibly disappointed at the news, as any would be. The family of 5 hadn't gone out to such a thing in quite some time, and they nearly had it. Another reason to hate the economy.
"Well.....sigh...." Nate sighed while sucking on the same candy.
However, right as he plopped on to his bed, something strange happened. Nate's eyes blinked as he saw some light above him. Before he could even question it, that same light exploded, engulfing him and everything he could see around him.

Almost as quick as it appeared, Nate felt himself rolling until he again felt a plop, apparently onto another bed. Groaning from the impact, Nate shook his head a bit, trying to readjust his eyes after the flash.
"What in the world was that?" he asked out loud.
Once his eyes adjusted though, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. The room was different, more like a hotel than anything else. Certainly not his bedroom back home. He even saw a familiar suitcase off to the side. It was his of course.
"What the....where am I?" Nate asked himself, wandering what was up.
Suddenly however, the door burst open, with Erin coming in.
"Are you ready yet?" she asked with a wide smile. "Mom and Dad want to leave soon."
