"It isn't," Karin acknowledges, "but it's by Laura's special request, and we use it to cover all kinds of curriculum stuff built in along the way."
"No disrespect intended," you point out, "but I'm not sure I'm quite as interested in babysitting as Laura might be."
"That's alright," Laura grins. "You can be the baby for me to practice on, if you want."

"Yeah, right," you snort.
"Actually," Karin cuts in, "I'm sure you can both take turns at playing 'baby', now we have the two of you. After all, you'll both need somebody to practice with. And, Daniel, I'm sure you'll find a lot of the practical skills very useful in the future, not to mention it's as good a way of learning other stuff as anything else - so I'm sure you'll find it to your advantage to join in."
