Something was bothering Cynder, Ember could see that, but though she wanted to help her friend she also knew to give Cynder space until she was ready to talk. Still, as the black dragoness walked away looking confused and concerned, Ember hoped she could help her somehow.
Turning, Ember made her way towards her next class. It was as she was turning one of the corridors though she ran smack into a familiar purple dragon.
"Oh my," Spyro gasped, surprised he'd knocked ember over as the pink dragoness lay sprawled and dazed on the ground, "Ember, are you alright?" He offered his clawed hand to her and the female blushed a bit. She might have been a touch more mature than years back, but part of her still desperately wanted Spyro for herself even if the more rational side of her mind said he was interested in Cynder. She blushed and stammered a bit, realizing he'd been offering his hand for almost twenty seconds before she embarrassingly chose to accept it.
As Spyro helped her up though Cynder felt the strangest sensation. It was like... enjoying a warm bowl of soup, only rather than pouring down her throat it seemed to center in her head, a strange warmth that pulsed between her ear fins.
"Ember are you... alright?" Spyro paused and blinked looking a little uncertain himself as he felt the strangest sensation of his own. Like his mind was a full bathtub and someone had just pulled out the drain plug. It was... strangely hypnotic. This feeling of draining.
"Yes... yes, I'm fine Spyro," Ember smiled and released his hand. Instantly the sensations for both of them stopped. and both wondered just what it had been, Ember more-so than Spyro.
Ember looked down briefly and considered her hand. The feeling started when they touched. Maybe she should try again?
Choice one: Ember casually tries to touch Spyro again as they talk to see if it works.
Choice two: Ember forgoes any further testing and goes on to class.
Choice three: One of the guardians arrives and Ember accidently brushes against them.
