The Family Picnic

He saw them approaching and his mind nearly went into a state of shock. Everything told him that the Gigantic creatures could not exist but there they were not only existing but approaching at a great speed and causing the Ground to shake with every foot fall. There were three of them. One wore a blue suit with a purple tie and brown shoes, the other slightly shorter than the first wore a pink shirt and a blue skirt with a white apron and carried a wicker basket under one arm. The last one, half the size of the second one, wore nothing at all but carried a folded checkerboard sheet.

Father Bear.

Mother Bear.

Little Bear.

"You've got to be kidding me." Ash muttered under his breath. He debated whether to run or not but decided against it. No matter how fast he ran, he knew they could walk faster and without any effort. So he decided instead to stand,scared out of his wits, and watch as the drew nearer and nearer. For a moment it looked as though one of them would pulverize him into paste under their feet but they slowed down and came to a stop. They looked down at him and made a circle around him. At first it seemed like they were preparing to capture him. Then Father Bear spoke.

"This looks like a good spot. Lets set up here."

Moments later the sheet was unfolded and dropped right down on top of Ash. Protected in a wrinkle in the Fabric he ducked and hit the ground as everything shook. Then there were other tremors as objects were placed down all around him. Not wanting to be under the sheet longer than needed the micro human made his way through the wrinkle of fabric, following it as though he were traveling through a long tunnel. He turned a corner and saw daylight. Running straight for it he almost bumped into the giant that sat at his exit. Ash stood and gazed upward in amazement at:
