After Rachel's uncle Harry had left, the girls walk into the room where he tried to hypnotize you. Only far from you being hypnotised you're shaking your head at them. "I know how hypnosis works, girls." Annoyed, you say. "I also know how to beat it." You sigh. "If your uncle was a little more experienced, he might have pulled it off."
"Okay, Okay, we admit we tried to hypnotize you into thinking you were a girl." Rachel said in an Irritated way. "Still, you have to admit our project idea is interesting."
"Too many things can go wrong." You counter. "How will the other girls in the school react to a boy living as one of them? I would have to use the girl's changing room or look out of place." You then sigh. "However, I have an idea that might work."
"What do you have in mind?" Susan asked, curiously..
"Make your study about me being treated as if I was a girl." you say flatly. "Start small, then later work up to clothing and gender identity."
"Why start slow?" Rachel asked, with a smile slowly growing.
"Suddenly throwing a boy into a girl's world will naturally bring resistance; you already saw that for yourselves." Trying to reason with the girls, you explain. "However, small steps into a girl's world would be less noticeable by both the boy, that's me, and the rest of the school." You fold your arms. "This is more than a social experiment for one person; its those around him as well."
"Interesting..." Amy mutters. "How do you suggest we start?"
You sigh. "With a nickname that is clearly feminine." Calmly, you reply. "If I read people right, they will all be calling me that name within two or three days."
"Okay..." Wondering where this was going, Louise said. "What's the second step?"
"Make up." Catching on, Rachel says. "A subtle makeover to give the nickname greater strength and have the boys and girls associate him more as female than male."
You nod. "By the end of the first week, we can move on to feminine hygiene." Serious, you say. "Remember that body wash that was pulled off the shelves because it also acted as a powerful hair remover? That could be the cover for my new silky legs, arms, and face the start of week two."
"Only because more and more students and teachers will already be seeing you as more female than male, they won't blink an eye at it." Smiling, Susan says.
"That is where the clothing will finally come into play." You say calmly. "There will be girls who will be trying to get this 'developing' girl to come out of 'her' shell and offer fashion advice."
"What about the obvious differences between boys and girls." Worried, Louise asks. "That is part of the female experience."
You shake your head. "This is not about a boy becoming a girl but a boy being perceived, assumed to be a girl." You counter firmly. "My concern is that after a few weeks I may begin to see myself as a girl and want the changes you stated."
"That is an interesting theory." Mussing, Rachel says. "Okay! We will play it your way!"
Louise grins. "We will observe how you and others react to you slowly becoming more and more feminine over the course of this semester." Liking the idea, she says. "We will see if there are any changes in how others treat you and if and how you change mentally before the end of the study."
"I believe this will be the best and least embarrassing way to conduct this study." You say. "As for a feminine voice, I have heard that talking in a different voice will eventually change it. So, if I get a feminine voice, I can always change it back in time."
"Not bad..." Smiling, Amy says. "Not bad at all. This way, nothing is forced onto you but rather gently persuaded upon you. I say we try it!"
The other girls agree and the following morning...
