Follow Tina and Tom on their way to school.

Tom reluctantly followed her sister to the local bus. From there, they would get on and travel a mile or two away from their house. It wasn't that bad and the bus came by regularly which was always a good thing.

They reached said bus stop which was only a few blocks away from their home and outside the neighborhood. They saw the bus already stopped and people getting on, both old, young, and students like them.

"Let's hurry!" his sister pushed, running ahead.

Tom frowned and yawned. God this was a bad day. He just hoped it didn't get any worse.

...

Tom realized he made the number one mistake. By hoping it wouldn't get any worse, he was foreshadowing something bad to come.

'Well, I'm right fucked, aren't I?' he thought jokingly. He took his time walking and reached the bus before it could close its doors. His sister frowned, not pleased with the lazy and tired behavior of his brother. Seeing an open spot next to his sister, he sat down and sighed. His sister nudged him, grabbing his attention. He was met with disapproving eyes.

"You know...It's clear that you hate the start of weeks like this, but seriously, don't you look forward to hanging out with your friends?" she asked.

Tom scoffed which resulted in his sister furrowing her eyebrows.

"Sorry to disappoint you sis, but sleep and bed always come before my friends," he replied.

Tina opened her mouth for a moment in disbelief and then shut it. "You're horrible, you know that?"

"Bite me," Tom replied back.

His sister sighed and that was the end of their conversation. Normally, Tom would've took a quick nap but since he was next to his sister, that was not possible. He allowed his mind to wander in the mean time.

It went back to the recurring dream he was having...about his mother and womb. He wasn't as innocent as he was when he was a little kid. He knew that in order to have a kid, you had to have sex and impregnate the female. From their, the male's sperm would travel, competing with other sperms until the first one...and sometimes, more than one would reach the female's egg. It's all part of mother nature...at least in terms of mammals. He wasn't sure for other types.

Yet something bugged him...a lot. The feeling of being in a womb...his mother's womb. He couldn't remember what it felt like. How could he? He wasn't aware when he was an infant so there was no way to remember something like that. Nobody would be able to remember being in a womb. It was impossible, right?

He sighed. This was so stupid. Why was he worrying about something as trivial as that? Could he really be that curious? Or was he just going insane? Why worry about the past when you could focus on the future? Why did he have dreams that made him depressed whenever he thought about being unable to go back to the womb?

Why?

Tom obviously couldn't answer himself. All he could do was hope that this was just a phase that he was passing through. He looked to his sister who was gazing off into the window and the blurry buildings due to the bus' speed. What was his sister thinking about? Who knew.

-------

The bus stopped and soon, a majority of the people, mostly students who went to school with them, left. A wind brushed past his face and he frowned. They were not too far from home and it was already becoming windy?

He looked up to the sky and saw it was becoming grey. Was it going to rain? Really, It was a Monday and it was going to rain. Way to go mother nature...way to add to the whole drama of the day.

He closed his eyes and sighed. Opening them and looking forward, he was suddenly met by a person wrapped in a brown cloak. Tom widened his eyes and jumped, his heart beating fast at how subtle this person appeared before him. He...or she...looked like they belong to this cult...or perhaps the old church. What was unnerving though was this strange clothed person was staring at him.

He looked at his fellow students who seemed to not notice this person staring at you. In fact, your sister seemed to ignore you and the staring robed person as she skipped ahead and met up with her friends. Were they that oblivious to this guy who was dressed so differently from the students and from the adults going to work in their formal attire?

"Tom...Tom Marcelo...is it not?"

Tom jumped again as you heard his name. it was definitely female and it was coming from this creepy robbed person. It was apparently female but he couldn't see for sure as her hood covered and shadowed her face. All he could see was her lips which was fine and smooth. She was more than likely a female.

"Y-yes, who are you?" Tom confirmed and asked, warily. This was definitely not creepy or weird in any shape or form.

"I am Orefeli Beqwa," she introduced herself and then pull down her hood.

Tom's eyes widened. She looked to be in her early twenties, a little older than him if that were the case. Her hair was cut short, just an inch off her slender shoulders. What was a bit dazzling and strange was that it was pure white. It definitely attracted his attention so perhaps that was the reason for her cover-up. Her face was slender with a pointy chin and her nose short. Her eyes...were blue but...they looked pretty tired or rather...lazy. Besides that, if she wasn't beautiful, then Tom didn't know how else he could describe her.

Quickly, he shook his head. This was not the time to get entranced. She obviously wanted him for something, but what?

"What do you want from me?" he asked, keeping his voice hard enough that it wouldn't indicate he was taken in by the woman's appearance. The obvious truth was that he was.

The woman looked down with her half-opened eyes and pulled out something from her robes. It was...some kind of black box or container and then held it out for him. She looked at him without blinking an eye or making any form of expression. Tom could see that she was pretty much emotionless. She also seemed a bit stoic. Weird.

Taking a look at the box, he raised an eyebrow. Was she offering it to him? Quickly he pushed it away.

"Sorry, I don't take gifts from strangers," he stated.

She didn't seem to care as she pushed it forward at him.

"Open it." she ordered in a flat voice.

Tom twitched an eye as he pushed back again. Didn't she heard him the first time?

"Look, I don't want it!" he yelled.

She didn't seem to care about whether he wanted it or not. She pushed forward again. What was with this strange woman?!

"Open it." she repeated.
