As the light turns on, you feel several quakes. They sounded loud even for a monster's footsteps and then you turn around and look in fear. "You've gotta be kidding me!" The monster came forward was a Sphinx, a winged lion with the face and breasts of a human woman. She had white lion's fur and large cat like ears, but her human head had long goldish colored hair. All she was wearing was a green collar with an ankh hanging from it. But what really was noticeable about her was that this sphinx was very fat, almost spherical in shape. This sphinx actually made Lupa, Izzy and Aqua look anorexic by comparison. She had a chubby looking face and her wings looked to small to allow her to fly. She was also walking on all fours, the only monsters you knew that did that were Lupa and Patsy and even then, they mostly stuck to walking on their hind legs.
But you were mainly concerned that you were in the apartment of a sphinx. Sphinxes were big time man eaters. They asked riddles to every human they met and if you didn't answer correctly, you were eaten without a second thought. Nefernina should put warning signs on doors that house human eaters. It was as if she was making this apartment as unsafe for your kind as possible.
"Is anybody there?" asks the ginormous sphinx as she walks forward. "Hello? I hope not." As this sphinx walks towards you, you start to imagine that she'd be 600 feet tall should she stand up. She seemed to have a worried look on her face as she maneuvers her huge body and nearly steps on you with one of her front paws. "Ah!" As you scream, the Sphinx lets out a confused mutter and turns her head and spots you. You gasp because you suspect you're gonna be eaten. But then something unexpected happens.
"AAAAAAAH!" Screams the sphinx as she jumps back, accidentally knocking down her own table. "A human! Get out! Get away!" "Huh?" you ask. "You heard me! Get out of her before I have to challenge you! Please! No more humans! I don't want any more! Out!" You were surprised. A monster afraid of humans. That was odd. Sphinxes were sadistic man eating beasts, but this one was acting like a scared cat and wanted you to leave.
