Cyrus thought once more to what the guard had told him:
"I'm doing you a favor, because you seem an alright sort, and I don't wish to see your mind consumed by the Princess's prodigious rear."
Now it makes sense, Cyrus thought. He really was talking about this curse - does that mean he also knows about it? If so, why not just tell me? And does it have anything to do with the dungeon?
Cyrus shook his head slightly. Ugh, I'm overthinking it - I'll deal with that later. For now, I want this curse dealt with, and gone for good. I can put up with Andaret's stench if need be - once the contract is up, I'm out of here. Cyrus looked at Allie and replied, "I do want it broken - here and now." Allie smiled. "Awesome," she said. "Ready when you are."
"Wait," Cyrus stated. "I want to ask you one more question." Allie seemed a little confused, saying "What else do you wanna know?" Cyrus paused, because he wanted to choose his next words carefully. "I hope you don't think me rude for saying this, Allie... but, how do I know this will work the way you say it works?" Allie's eyebrow raised even higher. "I thought I just told you," she affirmed, "I've done this before - plenty of times."
"That's not what I mean," Cyrus clarified. "It's just... clearly you know a lot about this sort of sorcery, so... how do I know that, if you do this to me, I won't instead become infatuated with you, and your farts?" Now both of Allie's eyebrows were raised, clearly out of surprise. There was a moment of silence between them, and then, almost out of nowhere, Allie began to laugh hysterically. "Haahahahahaha! Wow, y'know, I never thought of it like that before!" Cyrus was stunned. "Huh?" he said confusedly. "Oh man, you're something else, Cyrus - all the other men Andie's cursed with her gas never even questioned how I knew all that stuff - they just wanted to be done with the curse! You're a real curious type... I like that. Means you're smarter than ya look. I'll be honest, when I saw ya, I thought Andie totally just hired ya for good looks alone, not for anything else, haha." Cyrus gave Allie and wry smile and replied, "Well, she did say I was cute." Allie continued to laugh even more. Alright, well that clears that up, Cyrus thought. Clearly, the idea never crossed her mind to trick me or any of the other previous guards. I should be good to go.
Once Allie started to calm down and finish her laughing fit, she cleared her throat and said to Cyrus, "So, ya wanna get this over with?" Cyrus replied quickly, "Yes, let's." Allie nodded her head and said, "Alright," before turning to have her back face Cyrus. "Lemme know when you're ready." Cyrus rolled his eyes. I can't believe I'm doing this, he thought as he went to kneel right in front of Allie's rear end. He noticed something that he didn't previously when looking at Allie - her ass was surprisingly round, yet not that big. Of course, it looked bigger right in front of his nose, but it was more bulbous than large. "Y'know, I gotta say, Princess," Cyrus remarked, "you got a pretty cute butt." Cyrus couldn't see the look on Allie's face, but she was blushing slightly at what Cyrus just said. "Really? Ya think so? What makes ya say that?" Cyrus replied, "Well, looking at it from where I'm sitting, it's very round - kinda perky even. Kinda like you." Allie was flattered. "Huh," she said softly, "I, uh, never had anyone tell me that before - they usually just say that my butt stinks. I mean, not that I blame them, of course, it's just... thanks, Cyrus." Allie looked back and smiled at Cyrus, who could now see that her cheeks were slightly red. She's honestly pretty cute in general, Cyrus thought to himself. I'm gonna miss seeing her freckled face around.
"I'm gonna go on three, OK?" Allie asked. Cyrus snapped out of his thought process and replied, "Uh, yeah, on three's fine with me." Allie nodded and Cyrus closed his eyes. "Good," she said, "One... two... three!" Right on cue, Cyrus's face was met with a blast of gas.
BRRRRAAAAAAAAAAPPPPP!!
Cyrus couldn't help but be taken aback, even falling backwards and landing on his back as he instinctively covered his nose with both hands. Allie turned to face Cyrus and asked, "You alright? Maybe I came on a little too strong." Cyrus raised his left hand off his face and said, "N-No, you're fine... I just never get used to how strong those are." Allie giggled and moved next to Cyrus. She moved her right hand out towards him and asked, "Need a hand?" Cyrus took his left hand and grabbed Allie's hand, and she helped lift him back up on his knees. Cyrus stood up and said, "Thanks," in response to Allie's gesture. "No problem," Allie said with a smirk.
"Alright, let's test this out, just to make sure," Allie said, before proceeding to lift her right leg up slightly. What followed was a short series of farts.
BRRP! BRAP! BRT! FRT! BRAP!
"Alright, how did those make ya feel?' Allie asked. Cyrus took a moment to process his thoughts and feelings. I... I don't feel anything. Not even disgust. I'm not sure if that's a GOOD thing, but I certainly don't feel aroused, that's for sure. Maybe it's just because it's Allie and not Andaret, he thought. "Well," he replied, "I'm not turned on, if that's what you're asking." Allie gave him a wink and thumbs up. "That's a good start!" she said happily. "But, maybe that's not saying much," Cyrus said, rather matter-of-fact. "Didn't you say that by breaking the curse, I would think Andaret's gas smelled even worse than usual?" Allie nodded and confirmed, "Yeah, that's how you'll know for sure - you should be able to notice right away too, it kinda hits you like a brick wall."
"Lovely," Cyrus said sarcastically. Allie giggled, "Hey, if it gets that bad, you can always just leave." Cyrus shook his head and said, "Can't do that - I'm contractually obligated to be here for at least the rest of the month. That's about another 20 days or so, assuming she doesn't straight up fire me herself." Allie smiled, "Hey, that's good." Cyrus looked at her, confused. "It is?" Allie blushed. "Uh, I mean... it's good to know you'll be in the same place. Who knows - maybe I can come visit ya." Cyrus' face fade from a raised eyebrow to a slight smile. "I'd like that," he said. The two were happy with each other, almost like they had just arranged for yet another meeting together without even saying a word.
A few moments passed before Allie belched. "Whoa, sorry - had some ale earlier today, stuff gives me gas." Cyrus snickered, "What doesn't give you gas? Didn't Andaret call you a 'gassy beast' or something to that effect?" Allie lightly punched Cyrus' shoulder and said, "Hey, beast is a little tasteless - I personally prefer 'gassy devil.' Makes me sound like I have powerful farts, hahaha!" Cyrus laughed in response. "Well, little miss gassy devil, sounds like someone takes after their sister." Allie scoffed, "Psssh, you wish! If anything, Andie takes after me - I am way gassier than her, and proud of it." Cyrus quipped, "Proud and shameless are two different things, Allie." Allie lightly punched Cyrus shoulder again, once again in a playful manner. "I'm not that shameless, give me a little credit - I'm not the one who cursed you with her butt, remember?" Cyrus nodded and said, "Very true, very true, I'll give you that much" with a smirk.
Cyrus paused and thought back to what Allie said. WAY gassier, huh? Maybe it's hard to tell because I only just met her, but she doesn't seem all that bad to me - in fact, it sounds like Andaret's going to be far worse than she could ever imagine. ...I wonder... why IS Allie so gassy, anyway? Should I ask her? I never actually get an answer from her. After all, she's not related to Andaret, so she's gotta be this way for a different reason, right?
Cyrus decided to ask Allie, "Hey, Allie. If this is a little too personal, I get it, I don't wanna be rude - I just wanted to ask you something." Allie replied, "Go for it Cyrus." Cyrus asked, "Why are you so gassy, anyway? For what reason do you burp and fart so much?" Allie paused for a few seconds before saying, "Hmmm. Yeah, I never did tell ya, huh? Do you really wanna know? I don't mind sharing." Cyrus nodded his head silently as he waited for Allie's response.
"Well, ya see..."
