"I say we have Sarah come with us - I've worked with her before, she can hold her own just fine," Cyrus told Augustus. Sarah looked at Cyrus and replied, "Aw, you really think so, Russel?" Cyrus couldn't help but blush when she called him that - Russel was her nickname for Cyrus, and she only gave nickname to people she really cared closely for, so he was flattered every time she called him that. Allison spoke up afterwards, "Hey, you mean to say that you don't think I'm capable, pipsqueak?" Allison said sarcastically with a smirk. Cyrus chuckled and said, "No, of course I know you're capable, Guildmaster - your strength is unmatched amongst the women of Epula, you know I know that. But, as you said yourself, you do have a guild to run, and that's also important." Allison laughed and responded, "I like that answer! I knew I taught you right, Cyrus!" Cyrus turned to face Millie and added, "And, I know how nervous you can be when you're outside your comfort level, Mil - I don't wanna push ya. Besides, you already seem plenty uncomfortable now, being as gassy as you are." Millie's cheeks slowly faded to a red color as she replied to Cyrus, "Oh, y-yes... I appreciate you thinking of me, Cyrus. Please, do take care out there!"
"Alright, guess that's settled then!" Sarah exclaimed with a smile and a fart.
BRRRRRRAAAAAAAA!
"Guess your stuck with my gassy butt for the next few days, Russel!" Sarah said to Cyrus as she gave him a wink and a thumb pointing at herself. "Haha, I positively admire your energy, Miss Sarah!" Augustus replied. "Well then, you two, let's make our way towards town - adventure waits for no one!" Sarah then leapt through the guild's entryway as Allison and Millie turned and headed back inside, passing gas along the way.
BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAPP!!
Brp
Fittingly enough, Allison's was the massive one.
Augustus and Sarah walked together, side by side, with Cyrus still standing in Augustus' hand. "If need be, Cyrus, you may take refuge in my jacket pocket until that potion wears off." Sarah leaned in to say, "I can carry you too, all ya have to do is ask!" Cyrus looked somewhat exasperated. Geez, he thought, being this small is so embarrassing - there's not a thing I can do on my own... oh well. At least it only lasts for a day - come tomorrow morning, I should be back to normal!
"I'll just hang out in Augustus pocket, thanks," Cyrus replied. Augustus said, "Righto, then!" as he took the hand he wasn't holding Cyrus with to open his jacket up some and reveal a pocket on the inside. "In you go," Augustus added as he moved Cyrus closer towards the pocket. Cyrus jumped in once he got close enough, and Augustus closed his jacket back up afterwards. Once he did that, Sarah passed some gas.
Brrrrrr-Brrrrraaaaaaaaaaaap!
"My my!" Augustus laughed. "You certainly are as flatulent as you claim, Miss Sarah." Sarah giggled as she waved her hand behind her butt, "Oh, yeah... sorry, I usually don't do that in front of strangers - I like to get to know people's boundaries before I just start blasting off like that." Augustus shook his head and said, "Nonsense! You are a Wind Elf! You should be proud of what you can do, and let no one else tell you different." Sarah smiled and blushed. "Well," she replied, "thank you, Sir Leaffall." Augustus quickly responded, "Please... you may call me August, miss." Sarah paused before she said, "Alright then - August it is! And, you can drop the miss part. I dunno, it's a little too formal for me - Sarah works just fine." Augustus winked at her and stated, "Consider it done, Sarah."
Cyrus could hear this whole conversation take place whilst he was in Augustus' pocket. Damn, he thought to himself. This dude is smooth - I wish I had an easier time with talking with women. I'm surprised though... I mean, how many men are that comfortable just letting girls openly fart around them? Cyrus paused for a moment before he realized, Well, that's not fair - like he said, Sarah's a Wind Elf. I should know that better than anybody, having worked with her for so long. Cyrus couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Still, he said to himself, at least I got to get used to her trumpet butt over the course of a few years - this guy just met her and he's already inviting her to go nuts! And I got to know Sarah BEFORE she was cursed to be even GASSIER than she normally is! Cyrus' smile faded as he lingered on that last thought. Yeah, that's right... Sarah's cursed now. That's strange to even think about - she doesn't seem all THAT different, really. Cyrus then thought back to the bathroom. Well, THAT moment aside. ...Can we expect her to start acting more like that? And more often? I'm not sure I can handle all that gas at once...
Meanwhile, Augustus and Sarah continued to talk. Augustus remarked, "I must say, Sarah, you make having a large stomach look very charming." Sarah couldn't help but laugh. "You mean you have a thing for big women?" she asked sarcastically. Augustus responded in earnest, "Not necessarily - I just don't mind a lady with a large appetite! Not to mention, Wind Elves such as yourself are not often this bulbous - that makes you unique among them." Sarah was surprised by such an honest answer. She giggled and said, "You always this way with every girl you talk to?" Augustus replied, "Of course - it is important to recognize beauty in all it's forms, I say." Sarah started to blush, and Augustus continued, "Do not misunderstand - I wish you to be healthy as well. Gluttony is not only a sin, but a deadly sin, and it's deadly for a reason. I don't at all mind your large belly, Sarah, but do promise me that you won't let yourself become a boulder now. Can you promise me that?" Sarah chuckled and said, "Yeah, you got it August. I know I'm kind of a lard-ass, but I know when enough's enough. Same goes for my gas just as much as it does my mass!" Augustus let out a hearty laugh and exclaimed, "Well said! I admire your spirit! Y'know, they say that a large stomach speaks to your confidence." Sarah blushed and asked, "D-Do you mean to say you think I'm confident?" Augustus faced his gaze towards her and proclaimed, "I do not think so, Sarah - I know so," in a smooth, sly tone. Sarah's heart skipped a beat and her rump expelled some gas at the sound of that statement.
Brrrr-Brrrrrrpppppp...
Augustus simply chuckled to himself, and the two continued down their path towards town.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------
The trio had been walking on the same path for about an hour, and by the time they had arrived at the entrance to the town, it was midday, most likely just before noon. Cyrus poked his head out from the jacket pocket he was in, and Augustus took his hand to open it up, allowing Cyrus to see what he could see. "So, where to?" Sarah asked the two men. Augustus replied, "I suggest we go to the plaza - there, we can see the most people. I suspect who I'm looking for is there." Sarah nodded and added, "Yeah, that makes sense. But, if it's people you're looking for, then we should go to the tavern - it doubles as an inn, and after we search the town, we'll need some rest. Besides, it'll give Cyrus the chance to let the effects of the potion wear off."
"I see," Augustus said with a nod. "You make a valid point, Sarah. Cyrus, what say you? Where should we go?"
