"Just a little longer" You complain, pulling your covers over your head. "It's not like I can be late for school."
"Just get up Daniel." Your mother says, leaving the room. "You can't slack off just because you're being homeschooled."
You stay in bed a little longer just to make your point, You're not going to go back to sleep with the sun assaulting your eyes so you get up but rather than go straight to breakfast you decide to take a long shower.
When you eventually arrive at the dining table your mother looks frustrated.
"What's up with you?" you ask.
"I told you to come to breakfast over an our ago." She tells you.
"What's the big rush?" You ask, sitting down.
"You need to keep up with the work you would be doing in a normal school." She tells you.
You swallow a spoonful of the cereal.
"Yuck" you complain. "It's all soggy."
"It wouldn't have been if you'd come down an hour ago" She tells you.
You look down at the bowl of mush, you're hungry but it looks really unappetising. The look on your mother's face says that you should eat it anyway.
