"I'm not sure I want to visit either one." Wincing, you said. "Can't I just be a regular guy?"
Mom smiled. "You are not the first boy born in a witch family to feel this way, John." Gently, she said. "Why don't we visit Witchbloom first; it will answer a lot of your questions."
"Didn't you say I'd have to be a girl to visit there?" Nervous, you asked.
"Mom nodded, waving her hand. "It's already taken care of... Lucy." Giggling at the end, she said.
You looked down and let out a short scream seeing that you were now a little girl in a pink dress and black mary janes. "Mom!"
"It's only for a short while." Smiling, mom said. "Please trust me."
You sighed. "I do trust you mom." Whining slightly, you said. "Just go easy on the surprises, okay?"
Mom giggled then opened the door to her study. "I'll try."
With that, you reluctantly followed mom to the car. The drive to Witchbloom was a long one; it took nearly a half hour to reach the school where mom pulled into a visitor's parking space and stepped out where she and you were greeted by a young professionally dressed woman.
"Welcome to Witchbloom, Ms Harrison." Smiling the woman said. "Did you convince John to attend here as a student?"
"It's good to see you again, Rikki." Smiling mom replied. "John is just visiting. I want him to make his own decision regarding his training."
Rikki smiled. "Of course." Politely, she said. "I would be happy to give 'her' the grand tour."
"I'll be going along." Firmly but kindly, mom said. "Lucy just discovered magic; she's a bit jumpy as it is right now."
"This way then." motioning them to follow, Rikki said.
