Indifference to a spell

... completely non-plussed at the fact her gender had completely changed. With an indifferent look, the new Harry said, "Very funny. Now, change me back."

Neither you or Mel were as calm as Harry though. Mel in particular; she was alarmed at the fact her crush had been girlified by a seemingly irreversible object. "What have you done? That thing is like totally irreversible... Oh my God. Your clothes!"

The changes to Harry weren't just limited to him. His clothes also changed to girl's clothing, but they were way more tomboyish than anything Mel or Hayley would wear. Harry didn't seem too surprised to find himself in a pair of denim overalls, t-shirt or plain sneakers. With the same calmness, he repeated his request. "You've had your fun. Now change me back. I know you can."

Hayley paused. "You're right, Harr-i. I can change you back, but I won't."

"How?' you demanded, over Harry's protests.

"John. You're as airbrained as Mel" Hayley scoffed. "Haven't you realized yet?"

"She's a witch, John" Harry said, slightly delighted at Hayley's backhanded insult at you and your sister. "How else would she know about this stuff?"

"Harriet is right. I am" Hayley said, slightly modestly. "I'm glad someone was listening to my story."

Mel's and your own reaction were different. You immediately said, "I was more focused on your chewing him- her out and then on her transformation. It doesn't suit her. Just change her back." Mel was different. She eyed Harry, then you and said, "Does this mean I'm a witch too?"

You heard that and instantly knew the implications of a positive answer. Slightly alarmed, you heard Hayley say, "Yes."

"What? You're actually not going to do it?" you shakily said over Mel's giggling demand for Hayley to change you next.

Hayley replied...
