It's too dangerous

"What do you mean it's too dangerous?" Taken back, Mel demanded. "He, or rather, she would be a witch just like the rest of us, right?"

"Yes, she would." Firmly, Hayley said. "A very angry witch with no training." She then motioned to Harriet. "Having Samantha Forester as her twin sister, she is now a witch as well. This problem is already spiraling out of control, doing more will only make things worse."

"What do we do then?" Worried, you demanded. "If this wish can not be reversed..." Then an idea struck you and you pointed at the wishing orb. "What if we use another wish to fix the mess Harriet created?"

Hayley shook her head. "If a non-witch makes a wish, it can not be reversed, John." Patiently, she said. "Were you not listening to me?"

"Harriet is a witch now." Firmly, you countered. "What if she or you were to wish that Harry did not make his first two wishes?"

"That won't work, John." Calmly, Hayley said. "It has been tried. No wish is taken back unless there was magic behind the wish made." She paused then said...
