(Takes place during the summer after the end of the game. Potential spoilers for both P4 and P4 Arena/Ultimax.)
During the second to last weekend of their summer vacation, Mitsuru Kirijo invited the Investigation Team to join her and the Shadow Operatives in her vacation home on Yakushima Island. After the incident during Golden Week, the two groups of Persona users had made fast friends with one another, and another opportunity to meet up in person- without the world being at stake this time- was welcome.
Mitsuru, Aigis, and Labrys enthusiastically greeted them as they disembarked from the boat.
“Welcome,” Mitsuru said with a smile. “I'm glad to see you all made it.”
“We wouldn't miss it,” Yu said. “For half of us, this is our last summer vacation as high school students, and this is a great way of capping it off.”
“It's beautiful here!” Rise gushed. “Senpai! We should go to the beach! You should see me in my bikini!”
“He's seen it before, Rise-chan,” Yukiko said tiredly.
“So? He should see it again!” Rise insisted.
“Is Akihiko-sensei here?” Chie asked. “I wanna spar with him again!”
“He is at the manor already,” Aigis said. “He has been awaiting your arrival.”
“I suggest we all go there first,” Naoto said. “We need to unpack, and I need to lie down for a while. Sea travel doesn't agree with me, it seems.”
“You're in good company,” Mitsuru assured the detective. “Fuuka-chan is the same way.”
“Um... here, lemme help with that, Naoto,” Kanji said awkwardly as he picked up Naoto's suitcase for her. Naoto smiled in appreciation.
“Is Yuka-tan here?” Teddie asked. “I've been practicing my beary best pick-up lines!”
“I have been given full permission to tase you,” Aigis said coldly.
“Never mind,” Teddie squeaked.
“Aw, c'mon, Teddie,” Labrys teased. “I thought you were s'posed ta be MY knight.”
Teddie blushed. “Gah! F-forgive me, Labrys-chan! I've strayed!”
“Relax, I'm just messin' with ya,” Labrys said with a smile as she ruffled the blonde shadow's hair. “I know yer...” Labrys trailed off as she saw Yosuke finally leave the boat. “Yosuke! Hi, Yosuke!”
Yosuke waved awkwardly, unsure as ever how to deal with the robot girl's inexplicable fascination with him. “Um... hey, Labrys.”
Labrys smiled and hooked her arm around the bewildered teen. “C'mon, da house is dis way. Wait 'til ya see it! It's HUGE!”
True to Labrys's word, Mitsuru's vacation home was bigger than any house most of the Investigation Team- save Naoto and Rise- had ever seen.
“Please, make yourselves at home while you're here,” Mitsuru said. “My only rule is to stay away from the storeroom on the second floor. There is some experimental Kirijo Group tech that we haven't had time to safely clear out yet.”

Naturally, early the next morning, every boy in the manor found themselves in the forbidden room on the second floor at the same time.
“Partner?” Yosuke asked, surprised to see Yu crouched behind some boxes. “What are you doing in here?”
“Hiding from Rise and Yukiko,” Yu said quietly. “They're being less subtle than usual today. I needed a break.”
“The two cutest girls in Inaba have the hots for you, and you're hiding from them,” Yosuke said deadpan. “See, this is why we had to punch each other in the face that one time.”
“Well, what are you doing in here?” Yu shot back.
“Hiding from Labrys,” Yosuke admitted.
Yu raised an eyebrow.
“Mine's a robot!” Yosuke defended himself.
“Never took you for a racist, Yosuke-senpai,” Kanji said gruffly.
“It's not racist, it's... what are you even doing here, Kanji?!”
“Making sure Ted doesn't do anything stupid,” Kanji said, gesturing towards Teddie, who looked around the room with an awed expression.
“Oh, okay,” Yosuke said. Somehow Teddie being in the expressly forbidden room didn't faze him at all.
“I'm gonna find out alllll of Mit-chan's sensual secrets!” Teddie gushed as he started poking around the room.
“Why the hell is this door open?!” an angry voice came from outside. Akihiko entered the room. “Everyone out. You're not supposed to be in here.”
“Akihiko-senpai? Mitsuru-senpai was looking for you,” Ken said, entering the room after him. “The back yard fence has a hole punched through it. She thinks you did it, and wants you to own up.”
“Why does she automatically assume it was me?” Akihiko demanded, affronted by the accusation.
Ken shrugged. “Precedent?”
“Heeey, so this is where the party's at!” Junpei said as he came in as well. “What are we doin' in here?”
“Okay, everyone needs to leave the forbidden room of mystery right now!” Akihiko insisted. “Seriously, Mitsuru's gonna be pissed if she sees us in here.”
“Why does she even HAVE a forbidden room of mystery?” Yu asked.
“You guys! There's a BUTTON!” Teddie squealed. “It's RED! I'mma press it!”
Before anyone could think to stop him, Teddie pressed the button, and they were all blinded by a flash of light.
