Something inside Steven told him that he should try and return to his own body first, to make sure he even could return. Holding his smartphone in his temporary hand, he hit the necessary buttons again, then he put his smartphone on the window ledge before hitting the "S" function. Again he felt immediately disorientated and things went black for a moment, and seconds later his eyes opened... peering through his familiar glasses. Taking a second to regain his senses, since the transference was quite taxing at first, he then stood up slowly and walked out of the stall, snatching his smartphone off the nearby ledge.
He had put his phone there because he hadn't know whether Nathan would pass out when he left his body, and he didn't want his phone breaking when it hit the floor. But thankfully, Nathan was still conscious, although somewhat bewildered, since he couldn't remember entering the toilets. "You okay?" Steven asked his younger, temporary co-worker.
"I guess, it's just... Nathan blinked.
"Just what?" Steven pressed.
"I don't remember coming in here." Nathan chuckled, deciding to make light of it. The 18 year old then looked around for a moment, before looking back at Steven who was staring at his smartphone, taking the Whosapp off it for now. "Nice phone, is that the latest one?" Nathan inquired.
Steven nodded, slipping his phone into his pocket before glancing at Nathan again. "Yes, decided I'd better catch up with the rest of the country, tech-wise, I mean." He laughed. It was no secret that Steven didn't like most modern tech. Hell, he still had portable cassette and CD players back home.
"I'm looking to upgrade myself soon as I can, when I can scrape the money together." Nathan said.
"Well, I hope you get it soon." Steven smiled, feigning interest in the conversation. But you won't have the Whosapp. He then thought, his smile quickly morphing into a mischievous little smirk.
"Oh well, better get back to work before Liz or Natalie start hunting for me." Nathan mumbled, going to leave the toilets.
Steven let out a sigh, then used Whosapp again to hop back into Nathan's body before he could leave.
He needed a 'disguise' after all, and Nathan would do for now. Steven decided though to give the App another test, he wanted to possess someone else's body. But he also knew he'd have to have his Smartphone with him otherwise he'd have difficulty getting back to his own body. So common sense dictated he try possessing another of his co-workers in Wilko.
