You tried to control your breathing as the cold was still seeping into you, and your rage was building. You closed your eyes and counted to 10 before responding to her.
"I appreciate that...you didn't leave me out there to die." You started with, trying to keep an even tone. "If not for you I would've frozen to death." You said, leaving the part out where she was the reason you were experiencing this in the first place.
She looked at you, shivering in your sleeve and gave a small smile to you before lifting you out of the sleeve, undoing what you couldn't have broken free from like it was nothing to her. Soon you were in her paws, her body heat permeating through you as she hugged you to her chest, instantly bringing a soothing warmth to your whole body. The wall of pink felt soft and you almost felt like drifting off again right there...
"You poor thing...don't worry, i'll keep you nice and warm." She said, trying to comfort you...it felt degrading, like she was patronizing you, and you still had the anger boiling near the surface. She did this and jacked your shit!
"I...really need to go home Mew." You said and she looked down at you, her face looming as her eyes looked a bit perplexed.
"Pardon?" She said as she tilted her head.
"You...shrunk me, and you decided to keep me warm and alive after the fact, but can't you just...grow me back and send me on my way?" You asked, hoping that you'd be able to convince her.
She shook her head no to you, filling you with dread.
"Listen little human, you don't need to fret, this is your home now, with me. Just forget about the growing back thing." She said and your heart sank as you did your best to control your emotions, it was getting harder.
"Why...can't you grow me and I agree to not speak of you? Please Mew...I really need to get back to town."
She shook her head once again.
"I cannot grow you back." She said in a firmer tone, basically telling you not to ask again. This time following up with a reason.
