"Weiss!" Ruby's scream carried through the hallways as she sped toward their dorm. While Weiss Schnee was the most likely to be disapproving of Ruby's ideas, she was also the one who most needed to loosen up.
Weiss jolted up from her seat as Ruby crashed through the door. "Gah! Ruby! Would it kill you to slow down once in awhile?" Ruby ignored the heiress' words, knowing it would only end in yet another boring lecture.
"Forget about that, you need to look at what I just found." Ruby pushed the mysterious remote and its matching pamphlet onto her partner's hands. It only took Weiss a few seconds to scan through the pages and understand just what her partner thought the remote was. Of course, Weiss wasn't having any part of it.
"Ruby, aren't you a little too old to be playing with toys like this?" Weiss scoffed.
"Come on Weiss, I'll admit it does seem a bit impossible, but wouldn't it be so cool if it did work? Besides, how often do you find remotes in the Emerald Forest? It has to do something interesting. Think of the possibilities!" Ruby exclaimed, her imagination running wild with all the things they could do with the remote.
"Why do you think I would need such a thing? I may not be perfect, but I'm further along that path than anyone else here." Weiss claimed with a flip of her hair. Ruby rolled her eyes at her prideful best friend. The redhead already knew what little things Weiss was self conscious about, even if the ice queen herself loathed to admit it.
"Even if it can give you Yang's boobs?" Weiss' shocked, blushing face told her she hit her mark dead on.
Weiss quietly, though angrily, contemplated her choices. While she was... lacking in certain assets, there were a few other things that did honestly catch her attention. While she wore her pride on her sleeve, she wouldn't mind leaving the life of a Schnee, if only to truly get away from her father's influence for a bit. There was also the matter of Weiss and Blake's falling out due to their views on Faunus much earlier in the year. While they had made up, there was lingering guilt that makes her believe she could stand to learn a little more and what better way than seeing life from their perspective... Of course, there were also the breasts, but the fact that Ruby had pointed that out so easily made it a sore subject.
"Alright, fine. We'll test the remote. But let's make this clear, we're doing this to see whether or not this device is dangerous and-" Weiss' lecture to justify their actions was cut short by Ruby grabbing one end of the remote and placing Weiss' hand on the other.
"Come on Weiss. There's no one around to hear you monologue, let's just get it over with already." Ruby said impatiently
"Wait! Don't just go around pressing any of the buttons! I'd rather not be stuck as some Weiss-Ruby hybrid if something breaks. At least pick something trivial to switch." Weiss stated, though she was already aware that no matter what her leader picked would lead to awkward shenanigans.
