As Matt waited outside the diner, he wondered just what sort of person this Lucia lizardwoman was. Sure, they'd done some chatting, but some folks lied about themselves online.
He heard some footsteps that made him turn. That was when he saw her, beyond that of the picture she posted. To say that her scales were green were an understatement - her scales were like gems, each with a sparkle, and a different shade of green, from dark to light. Her hands had claws, trimmed and painted red, as did her feet. She was also wearing what looked to be some sort of strapped sandals, to comply with any Shoe policies most places in the human world tended to have. As for the dress she wore, it was a share of red that matched her claws.
"Hello Matt," she said, as they got close enough to not yell.
Matt gulped. "Hello Lucia."
The lizardwoman smiled. "I hope you're ready for our date."
Matt chuckled nervously, as he recalled just how much lizardfolk tended to eat, as well as what.
Lucia chuckled. "Don't worry. I can pay for my part of any bills. I don't want you to go broke over one meal."
"Okay, that's good to know," Matt said. "I mean, traditionally, the guy's supposed to pay, but they didn't have monsters and the like in mind when those rules were written."
