Neo goes and finds Ruby

Neo paused when she realized when she thought of Ruby as 'cute'. She must of meant annoying. Yeah. That.

Neo goes and finds Ruby with her sister in the cafeteria. Yang and Neo never got along but Ruby was nice to everyone. The young reaper's mouth was full of cookie as she chewed away, even cute as she stuffed her face- nope!

Neo slapped her face. What is wrong with her today? She never put much thought towards Ruby beyond her being a problem for Roman. She never focused on how pretty her eyes are or how she wears her hair or how cute her voice is or-oh fuck. Neo was not prepared today for this realization.

Ruby is cute. Ruby is really fucking cute. She's so determined too, just driven and serious when she wants to be which is- shit Neo is doing it again. The worst part is that Ruby only really knows Neo as that girl that her sister fights with. Neo doesn't actually have a family but she's pretty sure they're important to the people who have them.

Wait she has a reality altering book. Neo would chuckle to herself if she could, but she can't make normal mouth sounds. She could just write in that Ruby is her girlfriend. Although, that would essentially be a cheat code for getting a relationship. Neo likes to win at relationships not to cheat at them. She could just use the book to tip the scales in her favor or learn what Ruby would like in a partner.

Of course Neo could just 'talk' to Ruby but that's scary. Not as scary as someone else because Ruby would be kind and sweet no matter what. Fuck how Neo not see this sooner?
