Celebi looked down to the tiny human, and was met with a question that she didn’t expect. To be honest, this sounded just like Mew. Celebi has met her every time she came around over to Ilex Forest, and she’s... playful. As the forest guardian, it was more keep Mew in line rather than playing with her. Granted she will admit, Mew was fun, which is why this story makes sense to her. Something she would do.
Still, that was a big task, even for a legendary like her. Mew can Teleport, Celebi can’t. If she gave chase, it was going to be long and hard.
But... she had to. You were a tiny human, what could you really do! If she just dropped you and let you be, a Hoothoot would eat you guaranteed.
She looks down to you, before sighing. Trying to give you the nicest smile that she could. “Okay, I’m gonna help you.”
You look back at her. “R-Really. Are you serious, oh thank you Celebi! Thank you so much!” You knew risking it with another Celebi would help you. “S-She went that way and-”
“First, I gotta do some things.” Celebi said as she was starting to hover up. She went to a tall tree in Ilex Forest, moving her way over and placing you on a branch on the tree. You had plenty of room when you were dropped, which was good cause you were a little scared of how high you were. “This is probably gonna be a long journey, and as forest guardian it would be rude for me to just leave! I got leave some Pokemon in charge, okay... so i’ll be back, and i’ll try to be quick.”
Celebi turned away and fluttered her wings leaving you. You breath a sigh of relief as you see her leave your view. How great was that! Celebi is helping you. You remember in the stories that Celebi was a powerful Pokemon, and considerate. You feel so much safer now, so much more.
Well... you did for fifteen minutes, until you heard a sound. You peak up, hearing wings flap. You get curious as you get ready to see Celebi coming back.
Only to be filled with a panic, as it was NOT Celebi. It was a Butterfree! A giant Butterfree, looking like it Dynamaxed! Flapping it’s wings and coming down onto the branch.
You hold yourself there, frightened at the bug, but thinking... maybe it hasn’t seen you.
Only to be faced with disappointment, as the Pokemon tilted it’s head straight to you.
The both of you lock eyes for a little bit. Butterfree didn’t really have a face you could read, so it was a mystery what was going through this Pokemon’s mind.
Well... you gotta run! Sprinting away from the Pokemon running your way across the branch. It didn’t shake around when you ran, but it did with every light movement of the Pokemon.
You just gotta get away. You can’t get found by a Legendary Pokemon, and then be eaten by a random Bug Pokemon! You need to get away.
Which... got real hard as you felt something tie up your legs tripping you up. You fall onto your stomach, going ahead and looking at it. It was String Shot!
Stopping your movement, and more as the String continued wrapping you up. You were bound, unable to move as you could just lay there watching the giant Butterfree waddle their way closer.
You wiggle your way trying to get away from the giant bug, seeing your doom. M-Maybe you should just drop down to the ground to get away! No... you won’t survive that. The Butterfree was over you, scaring you and taunting you.
When suddenly. “Hey Butterfree!” A concerned voice said. Turning your head, you could see Celebi quickly flying her way over. “Don’t eat that tiny human!”
Butterfree turned it’s way to see Celebi flying over. “Oh, he would of been a good meal though. Oh well, if you say so Celebi!” Butterfree said as it flew off of you. You watch the giant bug fly off, as Celebi gripped you. Easily ripping open the String with her finger and freeing you. Seeing you in her hand.
“You are pretty defenceless little human, aren’t you?”
“Y-Yeah...” You say with a sigh. “Sorry.”
“Guess I can’t leave you alone.” Celebi admitted. “Doesn’t matter, I left some Pokemon in charge of some things, so we can go now! Hopefully we find Mew real quick.” Celebi smiled ready to go. “Even look at this, remind you of something!”
Celebi showed you her back, as you saw something. “Oh, you got a bag!”
It was a small bag made of large leaves, woven together and with straps over her shoulders. “Hehe yep! I see you humans wear them all the time and have things in! I always think, that’s useful! So I really quickly made one. I can even stuff you inside small human.”
“I have a name.”
“Yeah but small Human, or tiny Human, or mini Human sounds better.” She smiled as she began to move. Floating up above and high above the tree line. She could see you getting more concerned. “Don’t worry I won’t drop you.” With a roll of her eyes and a smile. “I carry Baby Pokemon to the river and to Berries all the time when their parents can.”
Wow, she really is a nice Pokemon. “Good to hear. B-By the way, I could understand that Butterfree.
“Oh... really?” Celebi said. “Well that explains why you could understand me. Mew would of done it.”
“I just assumed it was because you were a legendary?” you admit to her.
“And a pretty one at that.” She giggled, having fun about it. “Now, let’s start,” She turned her way over to you and began to ask. “Which direction did you say Mew go?”
You pointed and Mew started to fly her way over, as your adventure begins.
