After Mew had gotten out of sight, your heart began racing.
Had that pink fiend really just left you here, the size of a blade of grass? Could Mew even learn moves that shrunk people?... Did those even exist?
Apparently, yes.
You were struggling to believe any of this wasn't a dream, and at the same time you wished this all was a dream! What were you supposed to do now, all alone and in the middle of nowhere...?
... Well, not that you were in the middle of nowhere: you were just in the woods near Anistar City, in Kalos. And, well, it was also true that you weren't exactly alone.
You had nearly forgotten with what had been going on in the past ten minutes, but you still had your faithful Pokemon with you!
Hurriedly, you reached out for your pokeballs, which shrunk with you, and stared at them, wondering if your two Pokemon would be as small as you currently were or if the shrinking hadn't affected them.
'Only one way to find out...' you thought as you opened both pokeballs, letting your two companions out: the initially indistinct masses of light began taking on a shape, growing in size in the meantime: somewhat relieved, you realized that your Pokemon were fortunately still normal-sized.
Eventually, the light died down.
"Meow?"
"Meow?"
Meowstic and... Meowstic, respectively a male and a female one: the two of them had been your partners for quite a while now, though the three of you hadn't met in exactly friendly circumstances: one day, back when you were still an inexperienced trainer, you had met an Espurr in a grassy field and decided you'd try to catch them. It had been somewhat hard, you recalled, as that Espurr had managed to knock your Pokemon out, but you still decided to try and catch them; evidently, Espurr must have been worn out by the previous battle, because they couldn't dodge your Pokeball and was caught after only a couple of shakes.
However, you had no time to celebrate as another Espurr suddenly came out of the tall grass, staring daggers at you, and wouldn't let you grab the pokeball that contained your newly caught Espurr. Only later you discovered that you had caught the second Espurr's brother; however, at the time, not wanting to let him go right after catching him, you instead offered the female Espurr to join you as well.
And she had accepted.
The first times... hadn't been easy, as the two couldn't accept you as their trainer: they'd often use their psychic powers to pull pranks on you and disobeyed you all the time.
You argued a lot back then, you recalled.
But then, as you began bonding, both grew to like being with you and you in general, eventually coming to accept you as their trainer.
Ultimately, they evolved.
The male Espurr was the first to evolve into a Meowstic; shortly after him, the other one evolved as well.
After evolution, they became much more calm, and especially protective of you... although, they still liked to play a prank on you every now and then.
In time, the three of you became inseparable: no matter how many Pokemon you caught or how many times you switched your team, both of them would always be with you.
... And they were also your only two Pokemon right now, you mused. You had actually come out here to see if you could catch some new ones, before this whole mess happened.
Currently, the two titanic Meowstic were looking around, seemingly trying to locate you.
"... Where's Master?" the male Meowstic wondered, his green eyes darting around as he tried to locate you.
"I don't know..." the girl Meowstic replied... ugh, you mused, you should have given them nicknames when you first caught them.
"Um... guys?" you spoke up, standing in between the two of them, wondering if they could hear you.
It seemed that they couldn't, be it because you were too small or because they were too caught up in their own conversation. Either way, they didn't pay attention to you, who were left with the sole option to approach one of the two and try to get their attention.
You chose to walk closer to the girl Meowstic, hugging her furry leg while shouting,
"Meowstic! Down here!"
The large ears atop your Pokemon's head twitched as she looked down, the gaze of her red and yellow eyes eventually locking on your tiny form against her leg.
"Meow!?" she screamed, doing everything in her power to not jump from the surprise.
Why was her trainer so small!?
"What's wrong?" the other Meowstic asked, surprised as well. His girl counterpart turned to him, looking bewildered.
"... I just found our trainer."

"... And that's how I got like this." you finished explaining from your perch atop the paws of your female Pokemon.
Both of them looked very surprised.
"Mew..." Meowstic uttered in shock,
"That's... unbelievable..."
"And yet, it's real. Our trainer was really shrunken down to size by some looney legendary..."
Naturally, you couldn't understand what your two giant Pokemon were saying, but you could more or less figure it out.
Then, as the surprise began to fade from their faces, a new reaction began to take place...
