Thankfully, your starter decides to listen to you. She squeezes you tighter in her embrace, then turns and runs as fast as she can on her stubby legs. You quickly become queasy from being shaken around as she runs, but it’s better than sticking around and being attacked by the Nidorina.
You can’t see if the wild Pokemon sisters are chasing you, since Teddiursa’s huge body blocks the way. But you still hear the roars and squeaks of the two of them, suggesting they’re indeed giving chase.
“Keep running!” you yell. “You can do it! Go!”
“U-ursa!” your Pokemon cries. She keeps glancing over her shoulder to see if the sisters are still behind her. You can’t get a good look at Teddiursa’s face from your low viewpoint, so you can’t tell if she looks frightened, but you hear her whine nervously. The Nido sisters must still be giving chase.
However, after a minute of running, Teddiursa looks back again and gasps. She slows down and turns around, finally letting you look in the direction you both fled from. There are no Pokemon in sight. You escaped successfully!
Teddiursa sighs and sits down, still hugging you. She’s panting now, and she’s grown pretty hot from all that running. You squirm a bit, feeling discomfort as her increased body heat washes over you. She doesn’t release you, though. In fact, she starts hugging you even tighter. You guess she derives some comfort from hugging her tiny trainer, so you allow her to keep holding you. Although she’s uncomfortably hot now, she’s still just as soft and fluffy as before, so it’s not all bad.
She gradually cools off and stops panting, and finally sets you down on the ground in front of her. You look up at her, and see her staring down at you. It’s a bit hard to tell what she’s thinking now.
“So... Teddiursa,” you say. “Thanks for following my order and running away. I knew that Nidorina was just too strong for you. I hope you’re not upset about how I made you flee that battle.”
