Door 1: The New Home Owner Newlyweds

"To hell with that! I'm NOT walking towards ANY light!" Peter roared, angry that not only had his night been ruined by all of this...Whatever the HELL this was, but he was now trapped in an endless void, taking very little comfort that he was with his girlfriend and the two nerds.

"It's the only way out! You, like, heard the lady! This is all magic!" Lindsey said, rising to her feet, only to let out a small 'eep!' when Peter charged on her, shoving a finger into her face.

"Don't you dare say a word, Lindsey! This is YOUR FAULT!" Peter's face grew even redder as Judy attempted to pull her boyfriend away from the wide-eyed blonde, even if she was feeling particularly angry towards the other girl at the moment. Peter was entirely right...But getting angry wouldn't solve anything.

"Pete, babe just, let's go over here for a minute, okay" She said, sliding her hand into Peter's and pulling the athlete, who was still staring daggers at Lindsey, away from the geeks of the group.

"I'm sorry..." Lindsey whimpered. She was feeling awful, if she knew this was what was going to happen, she would have never started the game! And now Peter hated her (which was...okay since Peter was a bit of a jerk to her anyway) and Judy was pissed (which was what she regretted most, as Lindsey considered Judy to be a really good and supportive friend, even if she was a bit...weirdly sheltered for her goth getup). She turned towards Eugene, expecting something similar to whack her in the face...Only to find the other freshman studiously inspecting the white portals.

"Eugene?" She said, taking a cautious step closer to the her friend.

"They're right...But at the same time, this is really cool" The chubby young adult said with a slight smile. Sure, this was crazy and scary and weird...But he was far more thrilled with the aspect of being IN a video game, even if it was magic. He was GOOD at video games, and so was Lindsey. Outside of carrying Peter and Judy, and more Judy because while Peter really only played sports game the athlete wasn't...too terrible at shooters like the older (and superior) Halo games whenever the two boys would hang out in Eugene's room...This might not be as scary as it had first appeared.

"You're not mad?" Lindsey's eyes glittered with what she, well, hoped was not false hope that at least someone here in this fascinating, terrifying place wasn't going to make her feel like shit for her attempt at saving Game Night.

"Well, I don't think this was the BEST thing to do...But you had no way of knowing, right? None of us did. And, uh, it's sort of partially my fault for buying the game in the first place right? So me and you, I guess that, uh, make us partners in crime" Eugene realized the awkward implication of what he was saying as he said it, his voice dropping off to nearly nothing a moment too late as Lindsey's face split into a more familiar wide grin.

"GENIE!" Lindsey cheered, wrapping her arms around her fellow fat freshman and pulling him into a surprisingly tight hug, completely abandoning the teasing she had been doing earlier because she liked making boys uncomfortable, "Thank you! This makes me feel, like, SO much better!"

"Uhsureanythingyou'rewelcome" Eugene mumbled, looking away as he both enjoyed and desperately wanted the moment to end before he ruined it with an awkward boner or something. After a few more seconds the blonde released him, and gave him a soft tap on the shoulder, smiling all the while. Judy and Peter, both of them looking no less annoyed or angry, finally returned to join the two in front of the various 'doors', as the strange woman had called them.

"So that crazy bitch said the only way out is by beating the game, right?" Peter gave Lindsey one final glare before turning his gaze to the white portals, "So let's just pick one and get this over with"

"Yeah but which one do we choose? They don't have names..." Eugene said, scratching his head. This seemed like some kind of level selection...Though with everything blank there was no telling if these were all connected levels or if each one was it's own separate scenario to play through. And what about difficulty? Did the game even have that? Would they end up in some kind of animal themed version of, like Dark Souls or would it be more like Animal Crossing?

"Then I guess we'll just have to pick one. Since impulsive bad decisions seem to be today's theme" Judy said, with a pointed look at Lindsey, who looked away from the passive-aggressive girl, "I'm just picking this one"

And before anyone could stop her, Judy took a deep breath and marched into the nearest portal.

"JUDY, WAIT!" Peter yelled, darting after her and vanishing, like his girlfriend, into the white nothingness. Eugene and Lindsey looked at each other in surprise, and then then looked away as the other doors all vanished in a blink of light, leaving only one entrance into the game world.

"Guess I was right" Eugene muttered, and to Lindsey's questioning look, quickly explained his theory on the doors being some kind of scenario selection screen. The other gamer nodded in understanding and, after steeling herself, held out a hand towards Eugene.

"I'm scared...But it's the only way we get out of here. Let's do this Eugene!" The rainblonde said, as she mustered up the rest of her courage.

And Eugene, despite the fact that he too was nervous and scared (though not by the potentiality of death but of holding Lindsey's hand) took the outstretched limb with his own, felt Lindsey give it a squeeze, and together they walked into the light. They vanished from the strange black void and rematerialized within a empty, very new looking house that was filled with cardboard boxes, no furniture, and that there was a moving truck outside.

That was when the four friends spotted each other once more, and Eugene realized that...
