After some intense discussion the group decided that neither 'Music' or 'Outdoors' were suitable choices, while Peter groaned once more about everything taking too long. But as Eugene went to type in 'More' on the game's small keyboard, the machine bleeped and immediately produced more options.
"Oooh, I wonder what 'Pets' are?" Lindsey held back a dirty thought and a giggle of her in latex and a whip and some KILLER heels while Judy and Eugene crawled around on the floor. Or at least Eugene's face on Peter's body, because while she liked Eugene the geek needed to lose some SERIOUS weight before he could fully be part of any idle fantasies. Especially if she was going in THAT particular direction. The mental image of Judy, however, was fine.
"Maybe it's like a pet store? Oh, maybe it's like that Nintendogs game! I played that when I was little, it was pretty fun!" Judy said with sudden glee, the happy memory flooding back in a wave of nostalgia. It had been in Sunday School and during a particularly boring day, in between the 'Praise Jebus!' and the other highly conservative rhetoric that implied she would burst into flames for even the slightest offense, a friend had let her play the cute little game. She had liked it so much that she had, somehow, talked her mom and dad into getting it for her. It had been the ONE video game she had ever owned, and one of the few she'd ever played before she'd escaped to college.
"What's the other one say? ...What the hell is 'Moderation'?" Peter squinted at the tiny red screen and scratched his head, "What, like 'drinking in moderation' or something?"
"That...is a pretty weird suggestion" Lindsey agreed, biting a already short nail as she tried to think of what it might have meant. It could have been what Peter had said...Or forum moderation? Twitch stream? She was suddenly reminded of that silly eGirl stream moderation game that had gotten canned recently. It could have been that, could it?
"Well, I can always see if it has anything else if no one feels like trying out these?" Eugene offered, hands poised over the keyboard. To be honest he wasn't really interested in the 'Pets' one or trying to figure out what 'Moderation' meant. He really just wanted to go back to the Sci-Fi and Fantasy choices, but he couldn't play the game alone.
