As he was distracted by the amazingly sized chips, Jack failed to notice the figure looming towards the bag. Brigette's sister, Tara, noticed her sister had brought out some of the chips from the kitchen and thought that she wouldn't mind if she took the bag to her room, and thus, she did. Jack tumbled as he felt the bag float upwards and he quickly glanced to see what was going on, only for him to get a tiny peek at Tara's unassuming face as she closed the bag. Now panicking, Jack tried to figure out a way to get out of the bag before something bad happened to him. Considering his life could be on the line, Jack thought about using his shrink ray to grow himself back to normal, but in all likelihood, that would cause much more harm than good. Instead, Jack accepted the reality of the situation and decided he was going to make a break for the exit whenever Tara would open the bag again, or if that took too long, try and make a hole in the side of the bag.
After laying back on the snacks all around him for a couple minutes, Jack felt his world fall onto a soft platform, which was Tara's bed. Jack then flew up in the air for a moment as Tara jumped on her bed, sending the bag of chips upwards. This ultimately cost Jack, though, as when he came back down, most of his body was buried beneath dozens of chips, and Jack had very little mobility. Tara texted her friends for a few moments, leaving Jack in suspense and semidarkness, but then opened up the bag. Jack, with what mobility he did have, tried to get Tara's attention, flailing his arms as best as he could. Tara had just began to glaze her eyes over Jack and the chips when she heard Brigette call out to her and her sister coming to her room. Rolling her eyes, Tara closed the bag and hid it under her bed covers.
"Dammit," Jack thought, "what the hell do I have to do to get free again?". Over his own thoughts, Jack could tell Brigette was distressed as she talked with Tara. "Bridge, what's going on? Why are you so stressed?".
"I can't find my tiny fri- earrings. I can't seem to find my earrings" Brigette stuttered. Jack felt a small rush of relief as he heard Brigette fix mentioning his size. He had no idea how Tara would react to such news, but he didn't really want to find out. "Well, chill, I'm sure we'll be able to find them, is it really life-or-death?". Brigette's tone didn't change. "It could be for him! I mean, it's gotta be dangerous for someone his size to be--" Brigette paused, realizing what she had said. "Brigette, what the hell are you talking about? I thought you said you lost your earrings?" Tara quizzically responded. Jack took a deep breath and facepalmed. He knew Brigette didn't mean to do it, but for heaven's sake.
"No, no it's not my earrings," Brigette sighed. "Here's what's actually going on..." Brigette then went on for a minute or two, detailing to Tara the predicament that was going on, finishing by mentioning Jack was last seen near the bag of chips. "Oh, well then, I might be able to help you out. Maybe, I'm not a hundred percent sure if he's here, but anyways" Tara said as she took the bag of chips out from under her covers. "Oh, that's where it was, I was wondering what the heck happened to my snacks, ya little thief" Brigette said. Tara just chuckled and opened the bag, revealing Jack and his dilemma.
"Hi..." Jack said as he gave a nervous wave, While Tara was astonished at finding a miniature guy, Brigette was relieved to have finally found Jack. She scooped him up in her hand and said: "Oh, glad to see you're okay, Jack! I was thinking you might have gotten squished or something considering the lack of awareness of some people". Once again, Tara giggled. "I'm sorry for that whole ordeal, little guy. I hope I can make it up to ya," Tara said with a wink. "I'll give you my number, maybe sometime I can take you out to the beach with me or something. You're pretty cute". Jack blushed and kindly accepted the offer. "Well, I should probably get back to my hosue. Mind taking me home, Brigette?". Brigette nodded and Tara waved to Jack as they went away.
