Twilight sighed contentedly, enjoying the ambience of the University Library. She loved nothing more than an afternoon reading whatever interested her. She'd just found a strange, ancient looking book, and was about to open to the first page, when she noticed something sticking out from the middle. Opening to that page, she found, wedged inside the book, was a necklace! It was a black satin choker, with a purple gem in the center. Picking it up, Twilight's hands felt a tingle. Perhaps it was just static electricity, though.

It wasn't exactly her style, but Twilight couldn't help but feel compelled to put it on. Staring into the beautiful gem, she decided...
