Thinking about it for a moment, Josh looked back at Jenn. "You know what let's go ahead and do it." He told her while glancing back over at where they were sitting. "I feel that we're due for a break and we can always turn everything the way it was by just knocking on your door, right?" He asked Jenn causing her to smile even more broadly.
"Yep." She answered back while looking through the book to find the correct spell that would give them a little vacation from their lives.
As she was looking through the book, Josh started to wonder what it would be like. "So do you know if we will take over their bodies and they will take over ours?" He asked. "Or will we be just be seen as them and them us?" He continued to wonder aloud about what will happen when Jenn does her thing.
Trying not to take her attention off of the book, Jenn robotically replied back to him. "Well, I don't know yet. Let me read so that I can find out." Josh knew better than to interrupt Jenn while she was reading and decided to take a quick trip over to the register and get another coffee since Jenn ruined his from earlier.
Getting up, Josh made his way over towards the room where the register was and waited in the small line. As he was standing there, he watched the little boy that was with the worn out couple start hopping like a rabbit before standing right in front of him. "Hi, me Ryan." He said with a large smile. "Me 4."
Feeling a little out of place with the little kid talking to him, Josh smiled and knelt down to his level. "Well hey there buddy." He started and looked up to see that his parents seemed to be moving away. "You better go catch up to your parents." He pointed out causing the boy to turn his head around and hop back over to them, waving at him while he left. Standing back up, Josh made his way over to the counter. "Hey again Zoe." He replied to the young woman behind the counter who seemed to be done with the day already.
Looking up from her phone, Zoe gave a small smile. "Oh hey Josh." She looked around to see if Jenn was with him. "Where's Jenn?" She asked after not spotting her next to him.
Chuckling, Josh motioned over to the room that he'd just vacated moments earlier. "She's in there reading a book trying to figure out how to do something." He told her, but suddenly felt his head starting to spin. Closing his eyes in an attempt to steady himself, Josh grabbed on to the counter, but something seemed off. Instead of standing as he was just a moment ago, he was now sitting down. Slowly opening his eyes, he found Jenn sitting across from him looking down at her body. Well it looked like her except for the short black hair on her head. "Umm... Jenn." He asked trying to get her attention. "Whats going on?" Looking down at himself, he saw that he was now wearing a hand knitted sweater and a pair of jeans. 'Wait a minute.' He thought to himself as he pick up the long strands of hair that seemed to flowing down the left side of his shoulder. Giving it a small tug to see what was going on, he let out a small yelp of pain.
"I think I switched the words around." Jenn meekly answered as she looked over at her boyfriend. Looking back up, Josh could see her looking back at him with the same dark rimmed glasses that Mr. Yamanda had on just moments earlier.
"Its fine." Josh replied back as he went to set his hand on her arm. As he let his hand rest, he noticed that his nails seemed to be a little longer and were now a shade of light purple. "We just need to switch back right?" He asked, trying to sound reassuring and calm. He looked back down at his body and noticed two small bumps coming out of his chest. Instantly feeling his heart starting to race, Josh brought his hands up to his chest and grabbed his chest. As he did, they instantly disappeared and Josh could feel himself wearing a bra under his sweater.
"Umm... Ssweetie." Jenn stuttered bringing Josh to look back at her. "I need to go back to our table and get the book." She told him while gesturing over at the table where they were sitting earlier. Looking over, Josh saw that _______.
