In a world with incredible superpowers, both heroes and villains put on the pounds...

This choice: Adele Russell!  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

An Accountant's First Crush

    by: Keroro04 Author IconMail Icon
Magnus International, building a more efficient future!

Officially, the company was known as a major player in the industry of producing important microchips, ones which were able to store terabytes of information for military-grade supercomputers. Beneath that facade however the whole organization was a fraud, one that was promoted by the US Military. Their actual product?

Automatons, based off the confiscated blueprints stolen from Health-Tech and meant to replace soldiers on the battlefield by 2035. In order to prevent another Omegon situation, each part was built by a different building, with the "fourth building" being the actual worst, in that they built the brains that were supposed to run these robots.

This... was what Adele told people when she got off from work, in order to make her job actually feel more important. While they did produce positronic brains, it was for no government but rather for private investors. The truth of the matter was that, rather than their public goal or what she herself loved to brag about, their production was for sexbots. The kind who were supposed to learn what a guy was into before using that information to become better lovers.

That, and to better rob from said investors. While they made a pretty penny selling sexbots, it certainly was not enough to combat the cost of producing them. This left Magnus International somewhat desperate to earn any extra profit which has caused them to make bolder and bolder choices. They cooked books to ensure that they could cut out anyone they viewed as a financial liability. They worked their employees like hell. They created multiple pyramid schemes under shell companies which funneled funds directly to the top.

And rather than keeping the company afloat, it all skimmed straight to the CEO, Maxwell Magnus. Arch-enemy to the one woman born on this Earth considered to be an equal match to the Celebrant, he had never been caught due to never actually committing his grand schemes to create a business monopoly over the entire world due to never actually committing any crimes personally, only delegating it to others while he had his accountants shred the documents connecting him to them.

Adele Russel was one of these accountants.

Did she love her job? No, obviously not. Covering up for this egomaniacal industry baron wannabe was stressful as hell and left her finding some of the strands of her long red hair turning prematurely grey. Not to mention that something was heavily wrong with the catering here ever since they switched providers to some company called Yeng when it was decreed as a cheaper option for food in magazines. And not just in taste either considering how tight her skirt was getting, and how hungry it left her by the end of the day.

She only stayed because it paid well, and even then she was starting to feel like that was a bad idea.

"Ugh... I swear this building is giving me a mighty headache."

Adele was cursed with the abilities of the Meta-Gene. What's worse was that while others got enhanced strength or the ability to control the elements, all she got out of it was the ability to sense danger via pulses of energy crackling through her head. That and her skin turning bright green as she digested dairy, but that was more of a heavy allergic reaction than an actual superpower, signaling that she needed to go to the hospital to get her stomach pumped lest she die.

Unfortunately, Danger Sense was not all it was cracked out to be. She was no fighter, and when it came to danger these senses acted indiscriminately without her being able to turn it off manually. In an area that was starting to break down from unsafe working conditions, it meant her head was constantly surrounded by these pulses to the point that she got migranes from them. She stifled the effects with medicine, but even with the medicine it still gave her minor headaches which made her somewhat grumpy.

However, when something actively presented a danger to her she got a different feeling. She could feel it when it happened...

*pump* *pump* *pump*

Her heart was beating, something was coming.

*CRAAAASH!*

As always, her sense warned her of the threat ahead of time as a flush of adrenaline forced her to kick away from a collapsing ceiling. Even with the leap she still felt a shadow cover her entire body as the rubble fell.

"Urgh! Shit!"

This certainly was it... but not the it she was expecting. Having been single for the longest while, she was saving herself only for the hottest woman in the area because she was entitled to have at least something hot for herself for all the hard work she had to put into the world. However, every woman she had seen in person was either ugly in body or ugly in soul. Nothing she'd ever define as actually beautiful, and the fact that she still hadn't found someone by the age of 32 left her worried about her love prospects.

However, seeing THE Omni-Girl in person? That was a whole different story.

Standing tall over the assistant, she held the rubble with a single hand as she extended a hand down to the woman she had just saved. Blessed by an incredible cocktail of meta-genes, martial training and weight-lifting actual mountains, this Earth-born woman had it all. Super strength, super speed, invulnerability... hell, she could even launch lasers from her eyes and fly through the air at over a thousand MPH.

And the best thing about her was that unlike the Celebrant she was not starting to let her physical figure go. She was jacked as hell, with a full on six pack and the physique of a model. At 6'5" she towered a whole foot over Adele as she held the debris up into the air. The only part of her body that had any fat was her breasts, which somehow managed to squeeze against her outfit big enough that the H-Cups beneath her uniform was rather taut.

Looking down on the woman she had just saved, Omni-Gal smiled a bit. "Sorry, ma'am. Trying to fight Doctor Prometheus, and his Sun Cannon caused me to bump against this building." Briefly looking around, her eye squinted a bit as she noticed the logo on the papers Adele was carrying. "Looks like I crashed into... a Magnus International building. Of course my luck sends me to this building... sorry, not you."

"I... I... pretty..."

Steam was metaphorically shooting out from Adele's ears as she looked upon the woman who had just saved her life. She could barely get out any words easily, as all she could imagine was wanting to touch Omni-Gal's body slowly, caressing her muscle a bit. In person on the other hand, she stuttered a bit as she twitched at the sight of this muscle mommy.

Omni-Girl quickly caught onto this, and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, I can see how your brain is currently handling this." Omni-Girl stated as she flew up to laser the broken rubble back shut fill the hole back up. "If I may ask though, would you happen to have any documents on Magnus International? I would love to have anything to prove to the judges of his misdeeds, so I'm willing to at least branch out.

"Uh yes, you could s-say that..." Holding out the form, she slid forth two documents from the pile. These were both some of the minor crimes, such as the pyramid schemes and the fraud about the AIs. This thankfully worked, as she looked only at those documents and not the third document which contained the CEO's hiring of Doctor Prometheus as a mercenary to try to kill a competitor in the field of robotics, Grant Gunderson. Interestingly, while she had the knowledge of the AI already, the news of the pyramid schemes actually caught her intrigue.

"Wait... you're saying the Lenoire Gardening Series is all just a pyramid scheme with no discernable head besides the company itself? Oh boy, those poor people we had left astray... including me! I just got that premiere gardening kit for Virtue's birthday... how am I gonna break the news to her."

"No... gotta focus. I need to stay on focus. Thankfully, this knowledge on shell companies will help me quite a bit in the trial against your boss. I'll try to say that I found these after being crashed into a filing cabinet so you don't get fired. You're a real help."

Walking up close to Adele, Omni-Girl helped the woman up to her feet once more, before opening up a window and flying away to continue the battle. For the moment, all those feelings of danger were secondary in her head, being pushed to the side of a new emotion: that of a carnal need for this Omni-Girl.

She needed her. For the love of god, she needed her. But she was a superhero with the complete package, and she was just a 230 pound office lady. However... there was a chance if she continued applying papers to her.

And perhaps if Maxwell Magnus was knocked down with all of this, maybe she could finally climb the ranks and be held up with the elites in this company. It wasn't like she was loyal to either after all. If she could find a way to somehow get up on top or find a better paying job, she was willing to take it, and she was seeing the future play out in her head.

Of course, even that was secondary to her new main goal in life.

"I need to see her again."
