The rider broad-shouldered, and as he draws nearer you can see, despite the long heavy coat, that he’s strong and fat - very fat! The riding coat is enormous, but being made of brown canvas and covered in dust, its sheer magnitude wasn’t visible at first. Up close, its broad shoulders cover a thick, solid chest and a pair of heavy arms, above a belly that bulges out over the saddle. As the horse and rider come near you, the rider pulls up.
