Buttercup read the poster with intense interest.

"Hmmm, Fighting championship..." She said eventually, "I'm the best fighter there is, I could win that with ease", safe to say Buttercup wasn't well known for being modest. But certain aspects of the poster bothered her, for one thing it was rather sketchy on the details (it didn't even specify what type of fighting it was), and for another thing, in order to take part you had to be assigned a personal trainer, and the personal trainer for PokeyOaks High School contestants would be...
